Farewell to a New Beginning

Abstract

I am compelled, within my inner essence to write this brief but important editorial note. I cannot close the border or halt the space of my emotion because I will be lying to think that the job of editing The Performer: Ilorin Journal of the Performing Arts, the official journal of the Department of the Performing Arts, University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria fifteen years ago is easy. I learnt the trade of editing from the best egg-heads that we have in the Nigerian theatre, and I have also used the assessments received on my major studies from critical scholars abroad to hone my editorial assignment.
