| dc.description.abstract | The change in climate is one of the realities that is now and will continue to affect our lives in the coming years. To mitigate and adapt to this reality, engineering and technological innovation are essential. In this paper, several engineering and technological responses that could be implemented for mitigating and adapting to climate change are discussed as well as their implications for a sustainable future. These mitigation and adaptation techniques and their challenges and possibilities are also highlighted. In addition to this, this paper also examines how engineers can use their innovations to force a change in attitude. The authors also considered a variety of alternative and renewable energy options as well as numerous technological energy efficiency solutions which are been considered by engineers to fight against climate change. | |
