By understanding the intricate interplay between the two educational paradigms and their implications for technological progress, this study also seeks to identify strategies for leveraging the most effective educational approaches to drive innovation and technological advancements in Nigeria. Contrary to popular beliefthat excessivefocus on religion is undermining technological advancement in the country, the findings suggest that religious education does not inherently impede technological growth; rather, it underscores the importance of focus and collaboration among stakeholders. The study concludes that whether secular or religious, the most important instrument to technological advancement in Nigeria is proper structuring of the educational system.
